The Cherith Clothing & Resource Center in Oshkosh, WI, was commenced in June 2015 to serve needy families and refugees by providing clothes and other resources free of charge.
The center is run solely by volunteers. Clothes and essential items are donated by friends, well-wishers, churches and social organizations. The Cherith Clothing & Resource Center also provides other resources as needed, such as furniture, computers, TV’s, appliances, bikes, bedroom and kitchen items.
In order to give ample time and attention to the clients, the center operates on an appointment basis. Clients are referred by government departments, social organizations, school district counselors, and churches.
